You’re Not Broken — You’re Just Undersupported
Holistic nutrition support for women living with Hashimoto’s — without extremes.
About Your Hashimoto’s BFF
Hi, I’m Nyra, a Certified Holistic Nutritionist living with Hashimoto’s, and the voice behind Your Hashimoto’s BFF.
I created this space because I know how confusing and exhausting Hashimoto’s can feel — especially when your labs look “normal,” but your body doesn’t. I’ve been there: the fatigue, brain fog, and constant trial-and-error with food and supplements.
Here, you won’t find extreme protocols or pressure to be perfect. My approach is simple, sustainable, and rooted in holistic nutrition, real-life experience, and compassion — because healing isn’t just about information, it’s about feeling understood.
I believe symptoms are feedback, consistency matters more than perfection, and your body isn’t broken — it’s asking for support.
If you want deeper education and real-life guidance, you can also check out my YouTube channel, where I share practical Hashimoto’s content to help you feel more informed and less alone.
You don’t have to figure this out by yourself. 💛
MY VALUES

Healthy Eating
Food should support your thyroid without fear or extremes. My approach to eating with Hashimoto’s is simple, nourishing, and sustainable — focused on reducing inflammation, balancing blood sugar, and fueling your body with clarity instead of confusion.

Inclusive Community
Living with Hashimoto’s can feel isolating. This space exists to remind you that you’re not alone. Every question is valid here, and every journey looks different. Support, empathy, and shared understanding are at the heart of everything we do.

Exercise
Movement should work with your body, not against it. I value gentle, supportive exercise that respects energy levels, reduces stress, and builds strength over time — without pushing through exhaustion or burnout.

Health
True health goes beyond lab results. I focus on whole-body support — including nutrition, stress, sleep, and symptom awareness — so you can feel better day to day, not just “normal” on paper.
